ACT LOCAL: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TO END THE HIV EPIDEMIC
On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, the ACT NOW: END AIDS (ANEA) Coalition hosted representatives from EHE jurisdictions invested in community engagement to bring their ideas forward on a webinar discussion with NASTAD (National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors) and NACCHO (National Association of County and City Health Officials).
IN THIS TOGETHER: VIRTUAL END THE EPIDEMIC TOWN HALL
On Friday April 24th, 2020 the ACT NOW: END AIDS (ANEA) Coalition hosted a virtual gathering for HIV/AIDS community organizations and leaders involved in “Ending the Epidemic” state, local, or community initiatives that are experiencing disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Harold Phillips, the Chief Operating Officer of the Ending the Epidemic Initiative, joined ANEA to answer questions that local jurisdictions had from a federal perspective.
